MRI

MRI – Why Is It Done?

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is an advanced imaging test that uses magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of organs, tissues, and structures inside the body.

It is commonly done to:

  • Detect brain, spine, joint, and soft-tissue problems
  • Investigate persistent pain or unexplained symptoms
  • Identify tumors, inflammation, or injuries
  • Help doctors plan and monitor treatment

MRI provides detailed images without using X-rays, helping doctors make an accurate diagnosis.
