USG – Why Is It Done?

USG (Ultrasonography) is a safe, non-invasive imaging test that uses sound waves to create detailed images of organs and tissues inside the body.

It is commonly done to detect stones, cysts, swelling, infections, and other abnormalities in organs such as the liver, kidneys, gallbladder, and abdomen. It is also widely used during pregnancy.
